On December 10, 1966, El Taller Gallery opened an exhibit that gathered a series of works by artists of the Juan Grela workshop. Puzzolo was only eighteen at the time and this workshop was his first art school and where he started to develop the initial lines of his language that soon derived in different stages of experimentation. Grela also became a crucial figure in his production process, and his principles opened the path to a field of reflection, discussion and exchange with the artistic scene.
During those years, Grela’s figure grew strongly in Rosario’s artistic field. The workshop he taught became a space of independent teaching, being the only free-thinking center capable of proposing alternative forms to two important artistic educational spaces: the university’s Arts School and the Escuela Provincial de Artes Visuales [Provincial School of Visual Arts].
